Emily Horton is currently working as the Head Electrician on Wild Kratts Live 2.0. Prior to this tour, she worked as Head Electrician on the second national tour of Mean Girls, at Glimmerglass Opera as can Assistant Production Electrician, and toured as an Assistant Head Electrician with BlueMan Group. 

Previous experience includes working as a Technical Assistant at the Ferguson Center for the Arts, a location that she has returned to multiple times since college when she worked there as a Student technician. She also worked at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, where she has held multiple positions, ranging from Maze Technician, where she maintained one of the multiple Haunted Mazes throughout the park to Install and Deconstruction Technician where she installed multiple events park wide, as well as did maintenance park wide. 

She graduated from Christopher Newport University in April 2019, where she studied technical theatre, focusing in Lighting. While at CNU she held the roles of Master Electrician, Electrician, and Spotlight Operator for multiple TheaterCNU productions, as well as Designer for the Theater and Dance department's Dance Concert.
